RCR Local is a series of events hosted by RCR Wireless News designed to provide authentic networking opportunities for participants in the wireless industry, coupled with fresh topical content on the latest trends in the wireless industry.  Speakers will have the opportunity to position themselves and/or their companies as thought leaders in the industry and gain exposure in an intimate setting.  The topics for each RCR Local will vary depending on venue but will cover the latest trends in wireless.  Currently, it is expected that the themes for upcoming RCR Local events will be focused on 4G and the impact the rollout and availability of 4G service will have both on the wireless industry and on the economy as a whole.  www.rcrwireless.com/section/rcrlocal

1st December 18.30 – 20.00 - ‘Convergence in a 4G Era’
 
The RCR Local panel planned at WiMAX Forum Americas Congress will be quite informal, much like a town hall presentation.  The idea is that each panelist will have 5 to 10 minutes to discuss their involvement in 4G, and their views on what 4G will mean to users, be it for work or play.  Dan Myer, Editor of RCR Wireless, will serve as moderator and try to facilitate interaction between the panelists and attendees.
