Dr. Teddy Huang is currently the President & CEO of VMAX Telecom after retiring from the position of Senior Vice President & CTO of Taiwan Mobile Company at the end of 2006. He was the President of Mobitai Communications, providing telecommunications & messaging services including GSM/GPRS, WLAN, Leased Line and ISR in Taichung, Taiwan. Dr. Huang is also served as an advisor to Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) where he has served as the Deputy General Director responsible for the R&D projects on Wireless Communications, Broadband Communications, Network Systems and Strategic Planning. While he was with ITRI, Dr. Huang also served as the leader/manager for the Wireless Communications Project, a major National Telecommunications project. Dr. Huang’s specialties are in wireless and broadband communications systems, communications software, network systems and business communications systems, and telecommunications services.

Dr. Huang was the Managing Director of Business Communications Systems and Communications Software in Lucent Technologies, A/P and China. Previously Dr. Huang was the Chief Representative at Lucent Technologies (China) in Shanghai.

Dr. Huang holds several degrees including the Executive MBA from University of Chicago, the PhD from Purdue University, the M.S. from MIT, all in Electrical Engineering.
